Practical Home Solutions for Bodies and Brains That Didn't Read the Instructions

You've tried the productivity hacks. The colour coded systems. Pushing through on the good days so you can catch up on the bad ones. None of it sticks, because none of it was built for a body and brain like yours.

Organised Chaos helps neurodivergent people, and people living with chronic pain, fatigue, illness or disability, build home systems that work with the body and brain they actually have, so there's energy left over for the people and things that matter.

About Organised Chaos

I'm Emma, the founder of Organised Chaos. I'm disabled and neurodivergent myself, and I spent years chasing a diagnosis and trying harder, waiting for someone or something outside me to hand me the fix. It never came, and forcing myself to push through the good days just fed the same cycle of burnout, grief and shame.

The turning point was realising I didn't need to force myself back to normal. I needed to work out my own capacity and adapt my life, and my home, around it.

That's what Organised Chaos is built on now. Not doing it for you, but handing you the tools and the thinking, so you can build a home that works with the body and brain you actually have.

The Book

Home, But Easier book cover by Emma Hammond

When pain, fatigue or overwhelm make everyday tasks harder, even your own home can start demanding more energy than you have to give.

Home, But Easier is a practical guide to reducing that effort. Instead of chasing a perfectly organised home, or trying to fix it all in one go, you'll learn how to adapt the home you already have around your body, your energy and the way you actually live.

From kitchens, laundry and storage to rest spaces, routines and everyday essentials, Emma Hammond shares realistic ways to reduce unnecessary movement, make frequently used things easier to reach and create simple systems that keep working on difficult days.

Small changes. Less effort. A home that works with you, not against you.
